Moisturize. Most of us neglect to moisturize our skin especially our knees, toes, elbows, neck during winter time. By spring time, lost moisture should be restored by using mild moisturizers to help skin look fresher and hydrated. Drinking 8-10 glasses of water in a day also helps in returning the must- have moisture of your skin. Natural way of moisturizing skin is also recommended. Sesame oil, coconut oil, sunflower are good skin moisturizers. Using petroleum jelly on skin cracks like those on heels is also an effective way to bring back skin moisture.
Exfoliate. Dry, rough and layered skin should be deminished and be replaced by a new and healthy skin. Using gentle exfoliating method atleast two or three times a week would be enough to let dead skin disappear. Avoid using harsh skin exfoliators to avoid it from irritating your skin. Commercialized exfoliators may contain ingredients that can be rough for your skin instead, use products that cointain beta hydroxy acid.
Use Sunscreen. Exposure to sun can be rampant during spring time therefore you should be careful in using and choosing sunscreen for your skin. Make sure that your product is suitable for your skin type. Look for products that contain SPF that do not contain chemicals that may be harsh and canbring irritation to your skin. It is always wise to be vigilant in using a product for your skin type.
